Tata Imagination Challenge 2024: Stages and Timelines

Round 1 | Tata Brand Assessment: How aware are you of the world of Tata? Brush up on your Tata know-how and practise your quantitative analysis skills, You’ll have to answer 20 multiple-choice questions in 20 minutes. Quick responses fetch bonus points, giving you an early advantage in the competition.

Round 2 | Gamified Assessment: Congrats on clearing the quiz round! Up next is an exciting challenge that tests your logical thinking, critical reasoning, and reflexes in this hugely popular gamified round.

End Date: 22 September 2024, 11.59 pm IST

Round 3 | #ImagineThat Idea Pitch: Here’s your chance to showcase your idea to the Tata group. Share a two-minute video explaining your idea, why it matters, and how it will drive change. You’ll also answer three short questions on your idea in writing. Detailed guidelines will be shared with shortlisted candidates over email.

Idea Buddy Phase: If you’ve made it to the top 50 after Round 3 — congratulations! You’re one of our finalists and will get a chance to pitch your idea to senior Tata leaders. Before the Grand Finale, each finalist will be paired with an Idea Buddy from the Tata group. These early-career Tata leaders will help you polish and perfect your idea presentation for the finale.

Popular Choice Awards: The jury’s assessment is important, but people’s choice matters too! The top 50 ideas will be put to the vote and the five ideas with the most votes will win exciting prizes.

Round 4 | Grand Finale: Finalists, this is your moment to shine! Present your idea to a panel of senior Tata leaders in the final round of Tata Imagination Challenge 2024. Tell them about the problem you’re solving, the impact you’re aiming for, and how your idea aligns with your career aspirations.

End Date: 13 November 2024

Eligibility

Student Track: You are eligible for this track if you:

• Are a college-going student (undergraduate or postgraduate) from any stream in any part of India
• Are currently a full-time student
• Have completed 10+2 schooling or equivalent
• Are enrolled in a regular or full-time course, undergraduate or postgraduate, in a university or college in India
• Are pursuing courses approved by AICTE or UGC or one-year management courses approved by business schools
• Your classes have begun for the current academic year

You are not eligible for this track if you:

• Have been offered admission, but your classes haven’t started
• Have enrolled in a correspondence or distance education course
• Have already graduated or completed your course
• Are not a full-time student
• Are a student on sabbatical from your current employer (non-Tata).

In-House Track: You are eligible for this track if you:

• Are a permanent employee of any Tata company or Tata joint venture company globally (including employees who are on sabbatical)

You are not eligible for this track if you:

• Are a working professional who is not employed in a permanent role of Tata group companies or Tata joint venture companies
• Are on the payroll of the joint venture partner of a Tata joint venture company
